Quick Tips for Using the Eros Therapy

The Eros Therapy™ is a small hand-held, battery-operated medical device, designed to treat symptoms of FSD by increasing blood flow to the clitoris and external genitalia. The Eros Therapy can be used before having intercourse and as self-stimulation. A summary of how to use the Eros Therapy is found below. However, to fully understand how to use the Eros Therapy safely and effectively the "Instructions For Use" manual should be read carefully and completely. It provides exact instructions for its use and care.

• A small, soft CAREss™ Cup is attached to the top of the Eros Therapy.
• The Eros Therapy is turned on using the on/off switch.
• The vacuum dial is moved so the vacuum is at its lowest setting.
• The outer skin folds of the labia are gently opened to expose the clitoris.
• The CAREss Cup is placed over the clitoris.
• The vacuum dial is adjusted to obtain the desired level of vacuum.
• The vacuum may be pulsated by using a finger to cover and uncover the vacuum port.
• The vacuum causes the clitoris to become engorged or filled with blood.

Home instructions are as follows:

1. Start using the device on low vacuum and engorge the clitoris up to 60 seconds. If discomfort occurs release the vacuum and note the time interval to discomfort. Rest 60 seconds and then repeat engorgement on LOW again for the same time interval. Perform the engorgement cycle 3 to 5 times with 60 seconds rests between each 1-minute cycle.
2. Use the Eros Therapy prior to intercourse as part of foreplay or for self-stimulation to improve tissue conditioning by engorging the clitoris with blood. We recommend using the Eros Therapy at least 4 times per week.
3. Increase the vacuum to moderate and high levels based on comfort and response (e.g. improvement in vaginal lubrication, orgasm, genital sensation, and overall sexual satisfaction)

Use the same cycle instructions for moderate or high vacuum as described above.

An immediate change in symptoms may not occur. With regular use (the Eros Therapy may be used daily) an improvement in overall sexual satisfaction is typically seen within several weeks.
