Frequently Asked Questions About the Eros Therapy™

Why is a prescription required for the Eros Therapy?
The Eros Therapy is a prescription only device. It is important to consult a healthcare provider to ensure the Eros is appropriate for you and to avoid a delay in diagnosing other conditions that may cause symptoms of sexual dysfunction.

How is the Eros Therapy different from a vibrator?
The Eros Therapy is a clinically proven medical therapy that actually restores natural responses by increasing blood flow to the clitoris and genitalia.

Why is the Eros Therapy so expensive?
The Eros is a medical therapy and priced comparably. It is also a one-time purchase. In comparison, drugs require frequent refills and result in ongoing costs overtime.

If I don’t like it, can I get my money back?
If you are not satisfied with the results after 60 days of prescribed use, you may contact UroMetrics at 877.774.1442 for a full refund.

Will my insurance pay for the Eros Therapy?
Some insurance plans are providing reimbursement for the Eros Therapy when it is prescribed as a medical necessity due to issues related to insufficient blood flow. Reimbursement will depend on the type of policy you have. Our Customer Care Specialists at 877.774.1442 will be glad to provide you with the necessary information for you to pursue reimbursement from your insurance company.

What is the cost of the Eros Therapy?
The price, when purchasing directly through UroMetrics, is $395.00

How do I get the Eros Therapy?
There are several options for purchasing the Eros Therapy.

  • If you already have a prescription from your healthcare provider, you may contact UroMetrics CustomerCARE tool free at 877.774.1442 to purchase the Eros Therapy directly or to receive a list of durable medical equipment providers in your area.

What is the difference between the Eros Therapy and Viacreme?
Viacreme is a new topical cream consisting of menthol and an amino acid, L-Arginine. This product is not FDA cleared to market and does not have clinical evidence to support its claims.  Promotional material for Viacreme states that it is “intended to help enhance and increase a woman’s sexual responsiveness, and IS NOT a treatment for Female Sexual Dysfunction.”  The Eros is still the only cleared to market, clinically proven treatment for FSD arousal and orgasmic disorders.
